Check Tires
* The tire pressure in one or more tires has dropped signi cantly.
The wheel position is displayed. A warning tone will also sound.

W WARNING ARNING Risk of an accident due to insu cient tire pressure

The tires can burst.
R
The tires can wear excessively and/or unevenly.
R
The driving characteristics as well as the steering and braking may be greatly impaired.
You could then lose control of the vehicle.

Observe the recommended tire pressures.
#
Adjust the tire pressure if necessary.
#
Stop the vehicle in accordance with the tra c conditions.

Check the tire pressure (

page 358) and the tires.

* The tire pressure is too low in at least one of the tires, or the di erence in tire pressure between the individual wheels
is too great.

Check the tire pressure and add air, if necessary.

When the tire pressure is correct, restart the tire pressure monitor (
