• Wash the steam juicer with a soft brush
or cloth and non-abrasive detergent that
does not contain citrus-based
ingredients. The protective coating can
otherwise become damaged, which can
result in corrosion.
• Remove small scraps of food that have
fastened in the bottom of the steam juicer
by filling the water pan with water, adding
a little washing-up liquid, and leaving it to
stand.
• To remove burned scraps fill the pan with
plenty of water and bringing it to the boil.
Remove the scraps afterwards with a
suitable utensil, e.g. a wooden spoon.
• Wipe the juicer with a few drops of
vegetable oil if there are any stains or
scale. You can also boil up water
containing citric acid or some other
alkaline substance to remove the stains.
