FIG. 2
USE
Intended use
The steam mop is intended for effective cleaning
of floors made of marble, tiles, stone, linoleum
and varnished wooden and parquet floors.
NOTE:
Not all floors are suitable for cleaning with
steam.
Bear in mind before use
• Steam and heat can dissolve wax on waxed
surfaces.
• Do not use the steam mop on untreated
wooden floors and do not leave it standing
on wooden floors or other heat-sensitive
floors. It can cause the wooden fibres to
rise, or otherwise damage the surface.
• Be careful when using on vinyl, linoleum
and other heat-sensitive surfaces. Hot
temperatures can melt the glue in the floor
surfacing. Only use on correctly laid
laminate floors, without gaps or cracks
where moisture can get in. Try it first on a
small, concealed part of the surface.
• Read the floor manufacturer’s maintenance
instructions before using the steam mop.
• Contact a floor specialist if in doubt. Only
use the skid on carpets. The skid leaves
stripes and can scratch hard floors.
WARNING!
The steam mop produces steam and moisture.
If it is held too long at the same place this can
cause water stains, discolouring, or damage
the surface.
Filling with water
WARNING!
Pull out the plug before filling with water.
1. Twist the lid on the reservoir about 90°
anticlockwise to OPEN and take off the lid.
FIG. 3
2. Hold the appliance at an angle of 45° to
the floor.
FIG. 4
3. Use the supplied measuring cup to pour
water into the reservoir. Do not fill above
the MAX mark.
FIG. 5
4. Replace the lid on the reservoir and twist
clockwise to CLOSE.
5. Use tap water, except for in areas with hard
water. In which case use distilled water for
best results.
6. The copper cone in the reservoir should
always be covered with water during use.
NOTE:
Do not put detergent, solvent, perfume or
the equivalent in the reservoir. It will reduce
functionality and damage the steam mop.
