WARRANTY QUALIFICATION AND SERVICE REFERENCE
The following information verifies proper installation and operation of your Mendota fireplace.
All
installation and operating instructions must be carefully followed. This Mendota fireplace must be installed
and serviced by a qualified Mendota-approved serviceperson.
Installer Verification Checklist
Install approved vent pipes and vent cap per manual

Vent pipes must be fully twist-locked and leak proof.
•
Minimum and maximum vertical/horizontal and vent runs checked.

sealant must be used on inner joints at adjustable pipe sections; no silicone adhesives

Check for proper clearances to combustibles and vent locations per manual
Install proper size gas lines; check for gas leaks per manual
Check for correct gas pressure at manifold per manual
