Replacing the battery
You can replace the battery by first sliding the top cover release latch
(1) , and then removing the top cover (2 ) and opening the battery lid (3)
on the back of the meter. Insert the battery with the text side upward.
There are also indi and - markings in the bottom of the battery
holder and battery lid. After inserting the battery, close the lid.
When the battery symbol appears on the display for the first time,
there is enough power left for approximately 50 measurements. We
recommend changing the battery as soon the battery icon appears to
ensure accurate results. Use only non-rechargeable, CR2032 lithium
batteries (3V nominal voltage, 220 mAH nominal capacity and 0.2 mA
standard discharge).
NOTE! Battery life: 1,000 tests (without the backlight). The battery is
hazardous waste. Please dispose it according to local regulations.
