INSTRUCTION:
Please read all instructions before operation your
new toaster. We suggest you save the instruction
manual for later use.
When using electrical apliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including
the following:

knobs.

. To protect against electrical shock do not
immerse cord, plugs, or toaster in water or
other liquid during use or when cleaning.

appliance is used by or near children.

. WARNING: Children must be made aware of
the possible danger of electrical appliances if
used incorrectly.

. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning.

. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after appliance malfunctions, or
if it has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to an authorised service dealer for
examination, repair, or adjustment.

. Do not use outdoors or in a bathroom.

. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
worktop or touch hot surface.

. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.

. Do not use appliance for other than intended
use.

. The unit must only be used for toasting slices
of bread or dried food. Never use as a grill for
cheese or meat.

. A fire may occur if toasters are covered
or touching flammable material, including
curtains, draperies, walls, and the like, when in
operation.

. This appliance must not be left unattended
during use.
SPECIAL NOTE: Never use the toaster without the
crumb tray.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Before using for the first time, run for a few minutes
without bread. Some smoke may appear at first,
which is normal.
1. Connect the unit to an adequate socket
2. Position the slice of bread/toast on the plated
mesh. Monitor the process and flip over by
hand every now and then. Heating time for
a slice of bread could reach 3 minutes; for
toast it could range between 3 and 5 minutes
depending on its thickness.
3. The toaster has a timer which you turn
clockwise to turn on the toaster. The toaster
turns off automatically after you have set the
timer. You may never cover the whole mesh,
you may only cover 80% of the mesh with
bread when toasting.
CLEANING:
1. Ensure that the toaster is unplugged before
cleaning.
2. Never place in water or any other liquid.
3. To clean, UNPLUG AND ALLOW TO COOL,
then remove the crumb–tray by pulling it
outward. Clean off remains of bread, buns, etc.
4. Once the crumbs have been removed, refit the
tray, ensuring that it is in the correct position.
5. Wipe the mesh with a damp cloth, never use
dusters or cleaning agents, as the surfaces
could be harmed.
