INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your new appliance, 

please read this user guide carefully be-

fore using the appliance for the first time. 

Take particular note of the safety precau-

tions. We also recommend that you keep 

the instructions for future reference, so 

that you can remind yourself of the func-

tions of your appliance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•  This appliance may only be used by 

children aged from 8 years and above 

and persons with reduced physical, 

sensory or mental capabilities or lack 

of experience and knowledge if they 

are supervised or have been given 

instructions concerning use of the ap-

pliance in a safe way and understand 

the hazards involved. Children must 

not play with the appliance. Cleaning 

and user maintenance must not be 

carried out by children without super-

vision.

•  Keep the appliance and its cord out 

of reach of children aged less than 8 

years.

•  Children do not recognise the dan-

gers which might arise from operating 

electrical appliances. Therefore keep 

children away from all electrical appli-

ances at all times.

•  Do not immerse the appliance, cord 

or plug in water or any other liquid 

and make sure no water enters the 

appliance.

•  Warning! The appliance will become 

very hot during use. Beware of the 

danger of burns. Take care not to 

touch hot parts. Only touch the 

handles.

•  Always keep an eye on the appliance 

while it is switched on.

•  Do not attempt to operate if 
 

- the appliance or the power cord 

shows any signs of damage

 

- the appliance has been dropped on 

to any hard surface

•  Remove the plug from the socket 
 

- when the appliance is not in use  

 

- in the event of any malfunction dur-

ing use

 

- before cleaning

•  Take care that the power cord does 

not touch the hot parts of the appli-

ance.

•  When removing the plug from the 

wall socket, never pull the power cord 

itself. Do not let the power cord hang 

free.

•  Do not place or operate the appliance 

and its power cord on or near heat 

surfaces (e.g. stove plates) or open 

flames.

•  Always place the appliance on a 

level, dry, stable and heat-resistant 

surface. Do not position it beneath a 

curtain or a wall cabinet, and do not 

use it outdoors.

•  This appliance is intended for domes-

tic indoor use only, not for commercial 

use.

•  No responsibility is accepted if dam-

age results from improper use, or if 

these instructions are not complied
