Changing the rechargeable battery
Note:
You will need a crosshead screwdriver for this step.

First push the AUTO / OFF switch

to the OFF position.

Take the decorative attachment

off the rod with the LED
light bulb

Pull the rod with the LED light bulb

off the middle rod

Open the battery compartment

on the bottom of the solar
casing

. To do so, unscrew both screws using a crosshead
screwdriver .

Remove the used rechargeable battery

Insert a new rechargeable battery (NiMH, AA, 1.2 V
/
600 mAh) into the battery compartment

Note:
Ensure correct polarity. This is indicated in the battery
compartment

Close the battery compartment

. To do so, screw in both
screws using a crosshead screwdriver .

When you close the case

, make sure that the cables are
not pinched.

Place the rod with the LED light bulb

onto the middle rod

Place the decorative attachment

back onto the LED light
