Thawing water pipes
It can be difficult to distinguish between water pipes and gas pipes. NEVER HEAT GAS PIPES IN ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES. Fit the reflector nozzle. Set the hot air gun to the thawing mode. Heat the frozen
section from the ends to the middle. Be very careful not to damage plastic pipes and connections when
heating them.
Soft soldering
The reducer nozzle is used for spot soldering. The reflector nozzle is used for pipe soldering. If you are
using solder without flux, solder paste must be applied at the soldering point. Heat the area to be
soldered for 50
–120 seconds, depending on the material. Apply the solder. The solder should melt from
the heat of the workpiece. Remove the flux when the joint has cooled.

NOTE!
Always disconnect the power cord from the mains power before working on the tool.
Always keep the tool and vents clean to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Keep the tool clean and in good condition for best performance and service life.
Check the power cord and tool before use.
Make sure that no parts are damaged, missing or worn. Check for other factors that could affect the
operation of the power tool.
Switch off and unplug immediately if you notice abnormal noise or abnormal vibrations. The tool
must be inspected and repaired before using it again.
Regularly remove dust from around the motor with compressed air or a vacuum cleaner.
Keep the tool clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Clean the tool with a cloth moistened with water and mild detergent. Some detergents and solvents
can damage plastic and insulated parts. Never use petrol, turps, thinner, chlorine-based detergent,
ammonia or household detergent that contains ammonia.
WARNING!
Do not clean the tool with petrol, naphtha, acetone, thinner or other highly volatile agents
– this can
cause fire and/or a toxic reaction.
Never immerse the tool in liquid or allow liquid to enter the tool
– risk of electric shock and personal
injury.
