MAINTENANCE
Good maintenance is essential for safe, economical and trouble-free operation and to minimise
contamination.
WARNING
Lack of maintenance or failure to correct any problems before use could cause malfunctioning
and lead to serious personal injury or even death. Always follow the instructions and schedules for
inspection/maintenance given in this manual.
The user should only carry out routine inspections and maintenance procedures as described in this
manual. Other maintenance tasks should be performed by qualified technicians or at an authorised
service centre.
The maintenance schedule applies to normal operating conditions. If the engine is used under severe
conditions, such as prolonged high-load or high-temperature operation, or in very humid or dusty
conditions, ask your dealer to provide you with a maintenance schedule adapted to these conditions.
