MAINTENANCE
• Make sure that all the screw connections are properly tightened to keep the
tool in safe condition.
• Replace damaged or worn parts.
• WARNING: Exercise careful not to get your fingers caught between the blades
and fixed parts of the machine - risk of serious injury.
• WARNING: Do not touch the blade reel until it has stopped completely.
WORK AREA
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Dark and cluttered work areas increase
the risk of accidents and injuries.
• Keep children and onlookers at a safe distance when using the machine. You
can easily lose control of the machine if you are distracted.
PERSONAL SAFETY
• Stay alert. Observe care at all times and use your common sense when working
with the machine. Never use the machine when you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention when
using the machine can result in serious personal injury.
• Use personal safety equipment. Always wear safety glasses and non-slip safety shoes.
• Do not overreach. Always maintain a firm footing and good balance. This will
enable you to have better control over the machine in unexpected situations.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or jewellery. Keep
your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose-fitting clothing,
jewellery and long hair can get caught in moving parts.
USE AND CARE
• Do not force the machine. Use the correct machine for the planned work. The
machine will work better and more safely at the load for which it is intended.
• Do not use the machine if any parts are missing or damaged. If the machine is
damaged, it must be repaired before using it again.
• Store the machine out of the reach of children when not in use. Never allow
children, or anyone who is unfamiliar with the machine and these instructions,
to use it. This type of machine is dangerous if used by inexperienced people.
