• To neutralise older plants with tougher leaves such as thistles, multiple treatments are usually
required at a one to two week interval. Rough bladed grass is very hardy and requires longer
effect times time during treatment.
• At the beginning of the treatment period, the weed’s fully grown surfaces must be treated
several times at short intervals. Only then can lasting result be achieved. Later during the
treatment period, the treatment can be performed less often.
• The weeds just need to be heated. Not burned. Heating dries out the leaf cells, thereby causing
the weeds to wither.
• Some weed species must be processed repeatedly.
Use
1.
Set the required length on the telescopic tube.
2.
Placing the extra handle in the desired position on the telescopic tube.
3.
Connect the weed burner plug into an extension cord.
4.
Keep the weed burner directed away from you, but towards the weeds.
5.
Press the power switch to start.
6.
Switch off the weed burner by releasing the power switch.
WARNING:
Risk of burn injury as a result of hot parts. After use, always place the appliance on a flat,
fireproof surface and allow hot parts to cool.
MAINTENANCE
Check, when the weed burner has cooled down, that the nozzle is not blocked. Clean if necessary with
a cloth or brush.
