OPERATION
Changing speed
1.
Disconnect the machine from the mains.
2.
Loosen the motor mounting bolts under the
housing.
3.
Lift the drive pulley to loosen the belt.
4.
Place the belt in a suitable position over the
drive pulleys for the speed you require.
5.
Press down the drive pulley.
6.
Tighten the motor mounting bolts.
Moving the tailstock and tool rest
The tailstock and tool rest are held to the bed with
lock nuts underneath the bed rails. To move them
to a new position, loosen the lock nut with a
spanner, move the unit along the bed to the
required position and tighten the lock nut. The tool
rest is held in place with the lock knob.
