Important safety instructions
1.
Wear safety glasses.
2.
Prior to each use, check that all screw connections are properly tightened.
3.
Do not use tool without the hoods and guards fitted. Always check that the tongues are in good
condition before use.
4.
Do not force the tool. Let the feed mechanism do the work. Never insert objects or body parts in the
outfeed.
5.
Check regularly that the rollers are clean. If the rollers are contaminated the workpiece will not feed
correctly - risk of personal injury.
6.
Do not machine workpieces with many knots or sprigs.
7.
The operating position is in front of the machine, by the side of the infeed table.
8.
Remove any nails, screws and other metal objects from the workpiece before machining.
9.
Check that the blades are correctly installed.
10.
Handle the blades with care - risk of personal injury and/or damage to property.
11.
Never start to plane until the blade holder has reached full speed.
12.
Never use blunt blades - risk of kickback.
13. Always replace or sharpen both blades at the same time. Both blades must be of the same size and
weight.
14.
Never insert your fingers or other body parts in the chip outlet - risk of personal injury. DANGER
