Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel. This power tool has been manufactured in
compliance with current safety standards and requirements. Repairs may only be carried out by
qualified personnel using identical spare parts. Failure to carry out repairs correctly can result in the
risk of personal injury/death or material damage.

NOTE:

A temporary voltage drop can occur when starting the machine, which could affect other equipment.

If the mains supply’s impedance Z

max.

is lower than 0.206 ohms, this kind of interference is common. Contact

your electricity supplier for more information.

Important safety instructions

1.

Wear safety glasses.

2.

Prior to each use, check that all screw connections are properly tightened.

3.

Do not use tool without the hoods and guards fitted. Always check that the tongues are in good
condition before use.

4.

Do not force the tool. Let the feed mechanism do the work. Never insert objects or body parts in the
outfeed.

5.

Check regularly that the rollers are clean. If the rollers are contaminated the workpiece will not feed
correctly - risk of personal injury.

6.

Do not machine workpieces with many knots or sprigs.

7.

The operating position is in front of the machine, by the side of the infeed table.

8.

Remove any nails, screws and other metal objects from the workpiece before machining.

9.

Check that the blades are correctly installed.

10.

Handle the blades with care - risk of personal injury and/or damage to property.

11.

Never start to plane until the blade holder has reached full speed.

12.

Never use blunt blades - risk of kickback.

13.  Always replace or sharpen both blades at the same time. Both blades must be of the same size and

weight.

14.

Never insert your fingers or other body parts in the chip outlet - risk of personal injury. DANGER

The declared vibration value, which has been measured by a standardised test method, can be used to
compare different tools with each other and for a preliminary assessment of exposure.

WARNING

The actual vibration level when using power tools may differ from the specified maximum value,

depending on how the tool is used. It is therefore necessary to determine which safety precautions are
required to protect the user, based on an estimate of exposure in actual operating conditions (taking into
account all stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in
addition to the start-up time).
