Aligning the lower blade guide
1.
The lower blade guide consists of the following parts.
2.
A support roller that supports the back of the saw blade.
3.
Two guide pins that support the saw blade sideways.
4.
Adjust the support roller and guide pins when changing the saw blade.
NOTE:
Check all the bearings at regular intervals for wear. Always replace both guide roller bearings at the same time.
Adjusting the support roller
1.
Undo the 2 screws and remove the U-section.
2.
Undo the three screws and remove the saw table.
3.
Push the upper saw blade guide up as far as it will go.
4.
Adjust and tension the saw blade, if necessary.
5.
Undo the clamping screw for the support roller (51). Adjust
the support roller. The gap between roller and saw blade
should be 0.5 mm. Turn round the saw blade by hand and
check that it does not touch the roller.
6.
Tighten the set screw (50) for the support roller.
Adjusting the guide pins
1.
Undo the screws (56) with a hex key.
2.
Press the guide pins (54) towards each other and against the saw blade.
3.
Turn round the saw blade several turns by hand and adjust the guide pins so that both pins are just flush with the saw blade.
4.
Fasten the saw table.
5.
Fit the U-section under the saw table.
Replacing the table insert
Replace the saw table insert if it is damaged or worn.
1.
Release the saw table insert from the saw table by pressing it down.
2.
Insert a new saw table insert.
MAINTENANCE
• Switch off the tool, unplug the power cord, and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before cleaning, measuring,
replacing accessories and other interventions.
• Replace all safety devices and guards after repairs and maintenance.
• The built-in ball bearings are maintenance-free.
Cleaning the saw
1.
Open the panel.
2.
Sweep or vacuum up shavings and dust.
3.
Close both panels.
Recommendations
• Apply a little lubricant to the swivel unit and blade tensioner.
• Regularly remove resin and other impurities from the saw blade with a suitable detergent.
• Check the guide rollers and support rollers at regular intervals. Adjust and lubricate the parts, or replace if necessary.
• Replace the saw table insert if it is damaged or worn.
• Keep the table free from resin and dirt.
