HOW TO USE
1. Put the catcher in place.
2. Connect the compost shredder to the
mains supply.
3. Start the compost shredder by putting the
power switch in position I.
4. Feed in material to be shredded. Use the
pusher to remove blockages from the
infeed opening.
5. Switch off the compost shredder by
putting the power switch in position 0.
If material gets stuck
If material gets stuck in the compost shredder,
do as follows:
1. Disconnect the mains voltage.
2. Unscrew the lock knob (1).
3. Angle the cover (7).
4. Remove the material.
5. Fasten the cover with the lock knob.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Make sure the compost shredder is not
connected to the mains when carrying out
maintenance.
• Clean and maintain the compost shredder
regularly for best results and useful life.
• Keep the ventilation openings clean and
unblocked.
• Apply or spray some oil on all unpainted
metal surfaces to protect them from
corrosion.
• Check that all screw unions are properly
tightened at regular intervals.
NOTE:
• Do not use the compost shredder in wet
conditions.
• Do not use detergents or solvents that
can damage the plastic parts.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive
chemicals.
