3. Fix the top and bottom tube by inserting
the supplied screw through the holes and
tightening with the knob.

USE
INSERTION AND REMOVAL OF
BATTERY
• Push the battery in the battery holder.
Make sure the battery clicks in place.
• The battery is removed by pressing the lock
button on the battery. Pull out the battery.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
NOTE:
• Charge the battery before using it for the
first time.
• The battery gets warm during the
charging. This is quite normal.

Connect the charger to the mains
supply. Only charge at an ambient
temperature of 4 - 40°C. The
recommended optimum charging
temperature is 24°C.

Plug the charger into a power point. The
red status light goes on during charging.
3.
It takes about 4 hours to fully charge
the battery. The status light goes green
when the battery is fully charged. The
battery reaches full capacity only when
it has been charged and discharged
several times.
IMPORTANT:
Do not charge the battery immediately after
use. Allow the battery to cool before charging.
If the battery does not charge
4. Test the power point with a lamp or other
product.
5. Move the charger and battery to an area
where the temperature is 18–24°C.
6. If you still have charging problems,
hand in the product and charger to an
authorised service centre.
INSERTING/REMOVING THE
BATTERY
NOTE:
Remove the battery before maintenance,
replacing accessories and/or cleaning.

Check that the power switch is in the
OFF
position.
2.
Press the battery lock on the end of
the battery and remove the battery
from the product.
3.
Align the battery ridges to the slots in
the casing, and press the battery in
place. Press in the battery all the way
until it clicks into place.
4.
Never attempt to force the battery
in place. If it is not easy to press it in
place, it is not properly aligned.
STARTING AND SWITCHING OFF
1. Check before starting and using the
machine that all the parts are properly
fastened, that there are no tools on the
machine, that the handle is fixed and the
battery charged.
2. Start the machine by pushing forward
the start inhibitor and then pressing the
power switch.
3. The start inhibitor can be released when
the machine starts.
4. Switch off the machine by releasing the
