MAINTENANCE
General
• The power tool is built for a long service life and a minimum of maintenance.
• However, regular care and cleaning is required to give lasting functionality. Wipe the power tool
with a damp cloth and brush it off with a soft brush or dry cloth.
• Keep the ventilation openings clean and free! Check regularly that the ventilation openings are clean and
not blocked by dirt or foreign objects. Blow clean if necessary, using clean compressed air (max. 3 bar).
Do not use detergents that contain solvent or abrasive agents. Only use clean, mild detergent to
remove dust and dirt and carbon dust from the motor's electric brushes.
WARNING:
• Brake fluid, petrol, mineral oil and petroleum products must not come into contact with the
plastic parts of the power tool. This type of product can damage or deform the plastic.
• WARNING: Always wear safety goggles that seal against the face and also protect from the side
when using compressed air to blow clean the power tool. When performing very dusty work, a
dust mask should also be worn.
Storage
When not in use, store power tools in a dry and frost-free place.
