Drilling
1.
Always hold the product at right angles to the point where you are going to start drilling. If
you hold it at an angle the drill can slip or jam.
2.
Always put the tip of the drill directly on the point where you are going to drill before
switching on the product.
3.
Predrill large holes with a drill with a small diameter first. This makes it easier to drill with a
drill with a large diameter.
4.
Insert a suitable drill. Put pressure on the tip of the drill before starting to drill so that it does
not slip.
5.
Use a metal drill for drilling in plastic and metal. Use a cutting fluid if necessary (available
from specialist stores).
WARNING:
• Switch off the product, allow it to stop completely and unplug it from the power source if the drill
jams in the workpiece. You can then release the jammed drill.
• When you run the product at low speed for a long time the motor can overheat. You should
therefore take regular 15 minute breaks to allow the motor to cool.
After use
1.
Switch off the product, unplug it from the power source and allow it to cool.
2.
Check, clean and store the product as described in the Maintenance section.
