Disinfect meter between each patient use.

After disinfection, user’s gloves should be removed
and hands washed before proceeding to the next
patient.

The number of times the device can be cleaned and
disinfected has been tested for up to 18,250 cycles.
The recommended frequency to clean and disinfect in
a multi patient setting is after each patient.

If the meter is being operated by a second person
who is providing testing assistance to the user, the
meter should be disinfected prior to use by the second
user.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after
handling the meter,
