ARPHONES
The device can play back music or speech both through stereo head-
phones and through an amplifier (e.g. hi-fi system).
Plug the jack plug (3.5 mm) of the earphones into the earphones connec-
tion [4/5] to get a sound.

Attention
: Using earphones at a high volume can lead to lasting
hearing damage. Set the volume to the lowest level before playback.
Start the playback and increase the volume to the extent that is
comfortable for you.

The five-way switch also allows you to control the volume. Press
the switch upwards to increase the volume or downwards to re-
duce the volume.

in the Main Menu, in order to play back music stored
on the integrated hard disk. Select
Record
, to play back recorded
voices.
