HARGING THE BATTERY
The device is equipped with a li-ion battery. You will find safety informa-
tion from Page 5. Follow the steps below to charge the battery com-
pletely, before you used the device for the first time.
1.
Plug the network adapter into a socket that is easy to reach and push the
other end into the mains connection of the device. You can also charge
the device through the USB cable supplied with it. However, this will
take longer than the mains adapter.
2.
The battery symbol will be animated while the battery is being charged.
The
symbol will be displayed if the battery is being charged. Pull the
mains adapter out of the socket and remove the connection cable (or
the USB cable) from the device, in order to end the charging process.
The battery be charged up to 80 per cent of its capacity in approx. three
hours and charged completely in approx. five hours.

Caution
: Only charge the battery of the device with the mains
adapter supplied with it or with the USB cable.

Note
: You can use the device when it is charging. The charging will
take longer because of this.
The operational life of the battery will vary according to the operating
mode (video, music, etc.) and will be displayed in the form of a full or an
empty battery.
