Advanced settings
ATTENTION!
The advanced settings are only for experienced
users with sufficient wireless knowledge. You
should not change any of these settings if you do
not know what effect this will have on the router.
Here is a list of the menu options and their meaning:
Menu option
Meaning
Fragment
threshold
The fragment threshold setting
is used for the transmission of
fragmented data packets. The
default value is 2346.
RTS threshold
This setting is used to define the RTS
value. The default value is 2347.
Beacon interval
This setting defines the interval
for sending out the beacon. The
standard value is 100.
DTIM period
This setting defines the interval for
sending out the DTIM signal. The
standard value is 3.
Data rate
This setting defines the speed of
data transmission.
N data rate
This setting defines the speed of
data transmission.
Channel width
Channel width setting.
Preamble type
This setting defines the type of
preamble signal.
