Setting the IP address in
Windows Vista/7
Click on the
START
button on the task bar and then
Control Panel.
Click on
Network and Sharing Centre
. Click on
Change adapter settings
.
Click on
LAN connection
with the right mouse
button and then select
Properties
.
The
LAN properties
window appears. Select
Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
and
then click on Properties.
Select the entry “
Use following IP address
” and
then enter the IP address as described below:
• IP address: 192.168.2.x (where x can be any number
between 2 and 200. If more than one computer is
using this access point, each computer must use its
own number)
• Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
To finish, click on
OK
