Before first use
− Remove the device from the packaging.
− Ensure that all packaging material has been removed.
− Connect the supplied power cord to the mains power socket

Mains operation – connecting the power cord
− Connect the supplied power cord to the mains power socket of the device.
− Connect the plug of the power cord to a readily accessible mains power point.
Internal battery
As soon as the party speaker is connected to a mains power point, the integrated battery starts charging automat-
ically. The
CHARGE
LED

will turn red while charging.
When the charging process is complete and the integrated battery is fully charged, the
CHARGE
LED will turn
green.
If the battery charge is too low, the
CHARGE
LED will start to flash red.
Setting up the device
− Place the device on a level, firm surface. Some types of aggressive furniture varnish can attack the rubber feet
of the device. If necessary, place the device on a protective surface.
Radio antenna
There is an antenna

on the back of the main device. Unwind it completely and position it to optimise
reception.
Switching on / standby
− Switch the
POWER
switch to the
ON
position to turn the device on.
The display will light up.
NOTICE!
If the portable Bluetooth sound system is operated using the internal battery or mains power,
the portable Bluetooth sound system will switch to standby mode automatically after 15 minutes
without a signal source.
If the portable Bluetooth sound system is operated using the internal battery, it will switch auto-
matically to standby mode if the battery charge is low.
− Press the
SOURCE/

button to switch the device back on.
