EQUALIZER
In the equaliser submenu, the preset can be set to
MUSIC, MOVIE,
SPEECH, FLAT, CLASSIC
and
USER
. The settings in the equaliser menu can
only be changed if the equaliser mode is set to
USER
.
As soon as the
SOUND
menu is selected using the
buttons, this
menu appears above and can be selected directly.
The default setting is
USER
and can only be changed if the option
DOLBY
AUDIO
is disabled (
OFF
).
DYNAMIC BASS
Set the bass amplifi cation to
ON
or
OFF
.
You can only access this function if the
OFF
setting has been selected
under
DOLBY AUDIO
.
DTS DRC
Activate/deactivate the DTS Dynamic Range Compression function. This
reduces the dynamic range of the audio signal, which automatically raises
the volume of very weak signals and enables improved intelligibility.
SOUND MODE
Standard setting
STEREO
. If the current programme supports DUAL mode
(e.g. dual-language broadcasts), you can also choose here between
DUALI
and
DUALII
(original language and dubbed language).
DIGITAL OUT
Set the audio type for the digital output here.
PCM
is the standard format
for stereo signal output. Select
PASSTHROUGH
for the output of a digital
data stream, e.g. on an end stage with Dolby Digital decoder. With the
AUTO
setting, the digital output is automatically set to the external devices.
HEADPHONE/
LINEOUT
Select the audio signal for the headphone connection. The
HEADPHONE
setting enables volume regulation for the signal. The
LINEOUT
setting
means that the signal has a predefi ned volume that cannot be changed.
If this setting is selected, an external amplifi er can be connected to the
device.
HEADPHONE
Set the headphone volume here. This can only be changed if
HEADPHONE/LINEOUT
is set to
HEADPHONE
.
