You can set whether you want to listen in to the incoming
messages via the hands-free facility.

You can listen to messages via an external telephone
using the remote enquiry function. The remote enquiry

18.13. Changing the remote enquiry
PIN
The PIN is a password and is used to prevent strangers
from using the remote enquiry of your answering
machine. If the remote enquiry function is switched on,
you must first enter the old PIN and then you can change
it.
NOTE!
This PIN is not identical with the system PIN.
