6 Determine the image composition while looking into the LCD
monitor.
• There is a difference between the image range through the viewfinder and
the actual one in the close up mode. We recommend you to use the LCD
monitor when determin
ing
the image composition.
• We recommend you
use a
tripod
or set the camera on a stable surface
.
• The LCD monitor cannot be turned off in close up mode.

7 Press the shutter-release button part-way down.
• If the focus lamp
(green) blinks, check that the subject is
4 to 40cm from the
camera.

The subject should not be
more than 40cm from the camera).

8 Press the shutter-release button all-the–way down to take
the picture.
•
Even after taking a picture, the close up mode is not cancelled. When the
camera is turned off and on again, the camera enters autofocus mode.
•
When the camera enters the autofocus mode, the flash mode is returned to
"AUTOFLASH WITH RED-EYE REDUCTION".
