3. Lower the power cord bail latch to down and locked position to hold the power cord
securely in place.

4. Any extra length of the power cord should be fixed to the rack (tie wraps).
5. Repeat Steps 1 thru 4 if a second (redundant) power supply is installed.
6. To turn power on at this time, plug the AC power plug(s) into the AC source outlet.
7. Press the ON (
I
), upper portion, of the power supply rocker switch located on the front
of the power supply module.
8. The fans will operate and
POWER
LED on the power supply(s) should illuminate green
indicating proper operation.
WARNING —
If removing the cable, hold the plug. Never pull on the cable to remove
it from the chassis.
If the
POWER
LED does not illuminate green, refer to Chapter 5, The Equipment
If power has just been turned off, wait approximately 2 to 3 seconds for the power
supply to shut down properly before turning the power supply back on.
