Recommended Operating Position
Mecmesin recommends that the test stand and guard assembly are placed so that the front
panel is clearly visible and can be reached. For single column test stands, this will typically
require the base of the machine to be approximately at waist height.
An example of the recommended operation position is shown in the image above. Here the
operator has easy access to the front panel as well as a clear view over the entire test stand.

Improper mounting of the test stand can lead to injury or damage to the
machine. This may occur instantly or over time, test stands that are placed too
high or low can lead to repetitive strain injuries.
For twin column and taller single column models the level at which the test
stand can be placed may be restricted by the height of the ceiling.
