4. Dealer network training – Electrical accreditation
The authorized MGE MEAN GREEN dealer network must follow all provided technical and sales training.
Electrical accreditation is required for some maintenance operation to be done on electrical devices. Please
contact MGE GREEN SERVICE or your authorized MGE MEAN GREEN dealer for any complementary
information you may need.
V. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
1. Electrical system safety
MGUPN072: Disconnect the battery before
maintenance or in an emergency. If the steps are not
performed, there is a chance for injury.
Remove key, disconnect battery cables by pulling rearward on

Keep unit free of grass clippings, leaves and other debris.
DO NOT spray water in electrical compartment
to clean unit. Use only compressed air
. Wear adequate eye protection when cleaning the unit. Always
wear safety glasses and protective gear near batteries. Use insulated tools. Clean by means of blowing or
air vacuum the battery compartment, drive motor compartment, mower deck, seat etc. of all dirt and debris.
Do not spray battery/electronics compartment with water. Use only compressed air or blower.
Avoid injury
. With switch key in ON position mower blade can engage when deck switch is engaged, even
if drive motor is not turning. Keep area clear of bystanders when engaging blade switch.
All maintenance and storage areas should be properly ventilated
in accordance with applicable fire
codes and ordinances to avoid fire hazards. Never allow flames, sparks or smoking near batteries.
Keep batteries out of reach of children
. Always keep protective shields, covers and guards in place and
securely fastened. If they become damaged, repair or replace immediately.
Never modify or remove
safety devices.
