(3). Install lower seal in hub with hub lower
bearing seal and outer race installation
tool (T911) while primer is wet.
(4). Turn hub top up.
(5). Install hub shim.
(6). Install upper bearing.
(7). Install the main rotor hub assembly
(ref. Procedure 1.B.).

A. Removal
Grease (C104)
Always wear rubber or clean
fabric gloves when you touch
the bearing to prevent contamination of the
bearing with oil from your skin.
(1). Remove lower seal (9), lower bearing
(10), and hub liner (11) with main rotor
bearing removal tool (T919).
(2). Remove lower seal (9) from hub liner
(11).
(3). Remove lower bearing (10) from hub
liner (11) with hub lower bearing liner
tool (T910).
B. Installation
Bearing cones, rollers, and cups must be
replaced as a set.
Always wear rubber or clean fabric gloves
when you touch the bearing to prevent
contamination of the bearing with oil
from your skin.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to replace grease
(C104) on bearing and in spaces if the
bearing is not past its life limit.
Fill bearing with grease (C104) by hand,
use force to push grease into bearing. Do
not put too much grease in bearing.
If you use a bearing grease tool, use mini­
mum pressure to make sure sufficient
grease goes into bearing.
Grease (C104)
(1). Fill lower bearing with grease (C104).
(2). Install lower bearing (10) on hub liner
(11) with hub lower bearing liner tool
(T910).
Make sure all hub spaces are
filled with grease to prevent
condensation.
(3). Fill space between center seal and
lower bearing cup with grease (C104).
(4). Install lower bearing (10) with liner
(11) in the hub.
(5). Install lower seal (9).
