DTMF Tone Generator
DTG-103A
Features
The DTG-103A DTMF touch-tone generator features a 16 key membrane keypad that is
similar to a telephone keyboard. The housing is sturdy molded plastic.
The Model DTG-103A is powered by a 9-volt battery that should, under normal use, last for
many months. An on/off push button is located on the left side to conserve battery life when
not in use. The unit comes equipped with a miniature phone jack for easy connection. A
cable is included with a male RCA connector.
Your DTG-103A generates all tones required for DTMF applications. The unit is also
equipped with a speaker for audible feed back while producing tones.
Replacing Battery
When the battery becomes too weak for reliable operation, the tone signals will not be crisp
and clear. If this occurs, you should replace the battery with a fresh 9-volt alkaline battery.
To replace the battery, turn the unit over and locate the battery compartment door, slide
the battery retainer door off the unit. Pull the old battery out and disconnect the battery
clip. Connect the new battery to the battery clip and insert it into the compartment. Replace
the compartment door.
