Trouble Shooting
1. If you suspect a problem with your DTG-103A, test it by listening for the tones on the
internal speaker. No tone indicates a dead battery or a malfunctioning unit.
2. If you hear tones check the plug and cable between the unit and the unit under control.
3. Connect the unit to an external amplifier and speaker to verify that tones pass through
the cable.
Care and Handling
Your DTG-103A is designed to give many years of satisfactory operation under normal
conditions if maintained. To insure long service life you should take these steps:
1. Keep a fresh battery in the unit. Remove the battery for extended shelf life periods.
2. Do not drop the unit or subject it to mechanical abuse.
3. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun light or freezing temperatures.
4. Avoid excessive pressure on the keyboard. Do not use sharp objects to press the keys.
5. Do not expose unit to moisture, store in a dry place.
6. Wash with 409 type spray cleaner, wipe off immediately.
7. Don't let the unit "hang" by the connector cord when not in use.
