Is the hydraulic fluid level low?
Yes:
• Add hydraulic fluid. Refer to the
section of this manual
for fluid recommendations.
No:
• There may be water in the hydraulic fluid, check and replace. Refer to
section
.
On newer models of the HPU equipped with receptacles the
heater receptacle is controlled in a logical manner as explained in
section
.
First check the signal LED on the SSR, if the LED responds correctly
(ON when the heater should be Enabled) per the logic explained
in section
then the control side of the circuit is
working correctly.
Yes:
• The SSR is damaged and needs replaced.
No:
• Check the SSR wiring harness and 4 pin connector per the wiring
diagram. Verify that the 24V signals from the Pressure Switch and Current
Switch are present and behaving correctly.
Were the QD connectors properly clean before connection?
No:
• Clean them properly with a spray lubricant such as WD40
®
,
reconnect/disconnect/clean a few times.
Have the QD connectors been connected/disconnected under
pressure?
Yes:
• The QD seals are not meant to connect/disconnect under pressure,
they may be damaged and need replaced.
