Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):

Before using the product for the

fi

rst time and after any signi

fi

 cant  modi

fi

 cations,  the

installation (including the electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist.

An annual check by a technical expert is required.

At least every four years, an acceptance inspection must be carried out by a technical

expert.

•   Install the effect beamer using the holes provided in the housing on the ceiling, the wall or on a

suitable crossbeam. When installing it, make sure that the device cannot swing freely.

•   Secure the device with fastenings that are compatible with the fastening surface and suitable for

carrying the weight of the light effect device.

•   Set the desired angle of inclination and carefully tighten the two U-bolts with the provided Allen key.
•   Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or net. The safety restraint

cable or net must be capable of supporting the light effect device in the event of a fault in the main

support system.

Mains Connection

When connecting up the power pack make sure

fi

rst that the voltage data on the

type plate of the power pack is compatible with the mains voltage available. Do

not connect the power pack if the data doesn‘t comply with the available mains

voltage. The wrong supply voltage may lead to irreparable damages to the device

and involve risks for the user.

The mains socket must be in close proximity to the device and also be easily

accessible after the power pack is plugged in to ensure its fast and safe discon-

nection from the power grid in case of malfunctioning of the light effect device.

Make sure that the connection cable is not being pinched or damaged by sharp

edges.

If the device is not in use, disconnect the power pack or press the all-pole switch

(with a contact gap of 3 mm) to disconnect the device from any power supply.

•   Plug the low-voltage plug of the power pack into the 5 V/DC connection socket (3) on the rear of the

effect spotlight.

•  Plug the power pack into the mains socket.

Operation

After connecting the power pack to the power grid, the device is ready for use.
•  The ON/OFF switch (4) turns the light effect on and off.
The appliance is switched on when the switch is in position ON and switched off when in position

OFF.

•  The STROBE switch activates the

fl

 ashing effect.

When the

fl

ashing effect is active, the LED projection not only moves but is also switched on and off.

•  The MUSIC switch (2) activates the music control.
When the music control is active, the light effect changes in time to the music.

Handling

•  Never operate the device with damaged housing or missing covers.
•   Light effect devices are not suitable for permanent use. The consistent adherence to the interrup-

tions of operation and use (at least 30 minutes after a maximum operating time of 6 hours) increases

the operating life considerably.

•   Never plug the power pack into a mains socket immediately after the device has been taken from a

cold environment into a warm one. The condensation that forms might damage the device. Allow the

device to reach room temperature before connecting it. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.

•   Never unplug the power packs from the mains socket by pulling on the cable; always use the grips

intended for this purpose.

•  Unplug the power pack if you are not going to use the device for a while.
•  For safety reasons, always disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during thunderstorms.
•   To ensure suf

fi

cient ventilation, never cover the device. In addition, the air circulation must not be

obstructed by objects such as magazines, tablecloths, curtains, decoration material or similar items.

Maintenance and Care

Always pull the power pack out of the mains socket before cleaning the light effect

device.

Make absolutely sure that the inside of the device does not get wet or damp.

Make sure that the area below the place of mounting is blocked off during installa-

tion and service work.

The product should be cleaned regularly to remove dust, etc.
The outside of the device should be cleaned with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth only.
Never use caustic cleaning agents or chemical solutions, as they could damage the surface of the

casing.
Due to the long service life of the LEDs, there is no need to change the light bulbs.

Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the

household waste!

Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regula-

tions.
