b) Use with an External DMX Controller
Each DMX device in a DMX chain requires a so-called DMX starting address to be clearly identified by the controller.
This DMX starting address specifies the first DMX channel to which the effect light responds. The remaining control
channels come after this first DMX channel (DMX starting address).
The effect light requires up to 26 DMX channels depending on DMX operating mode.
Setting the DMX operating mode
• Push the button UP (6) or DOWN (7) until the desired DMX operating mode (DMX mode) is displayed (see over-view
and following tables).
Setting the DMX starting address
• Select the desired starting address 001-512 with the INC (8) and DEC (9) buttons.
The following tables provide information on the different DMX operating modes and the effects of the settings on the
individual DMX channels.
