8. Route a tie wrap (small) to a tie wrap (large) used for
securing the DLP unit, route the harness (H5) as shown
in the figure, and secure it.
9. Branch connect the CAN (+) wires (for Sirius and for
iPod) to the information display 12-pin connector
(terminal J) using the electro taps.
10. Branch connect the CAN (-) wires (for Sirius and for
iPod) to the information display 12-pin connector
(terminal L) using the electro taps.

11. Wrap the electro taps and vehicle wiring harness
together using urethane.
12. Secure the harness (H5) CAN (+, -) wires (for Sirius and
for iPod) to the dashboard with pad protector.
13. Secure the harness (H5) CAN (+, -) wires (for Sirius and
for iPod) to the vehicle wiring harness with tie wrap
(small).
14. Connect the harness (H5) 16 pin connector to the AUX,
Bluetooth H/F connector.
15. Affix the harness (H5) 16 pin connector to the dashboard
member using a tie wrap (large).

When reinstalling the audio unit, always secure it
using a tie wrap (small). Otherwise, the harness (H5)
may get caught.

area where the pad protector is affixed.
