FIXING TO THE WINDSCREEN
Inside the vehicle the dashcam (
3
) is attached to the windscreen using the
fixing arm (
2
) that is supplied with the device.
Please Note!
■
The dashcam must never impede the driver’s view, the rear-view mirror,
the controls of the vehicle or the airbag!
■
Keep the lens of the dashcam clean and do not touch it with your fin-
gers. Marks on the lens will also be visible on the recordings.
Attaching
For the largest possible coverage angle, the dashcam should be positioned
in the top section of the windscreen, ideally behind the rear-view mirror.
1. Clean the spot to which the fixing arm is attached. It must be free of
any dust and grease so that the suction cup (
5
) sticks on firmly.
2. Slide the end piece (
7
) of the fixing arm into the holder (
10
) of the dash-
cam. Check that the connection fits securely.
3. Peel the protective film off the suction cup (
5
).
4. Flip the lever (
6
) on the fixing arm over towards the dashcam.
5. Press the suction cup against the windscreen.
6. Flip the lever over towards the suction cup to fix it in place.
Orientation
L
Orientate the dashcam down slightly to minimise the glare of the
sun.
