•
Do not use the device if the measuring wires
appear to be defective or you think that the
device does not work correctly.
•
Do not ground yourself when measuring. Do
not touch any uninsulated metal pipes, parts,
etc. that can be on ground potential. Protect
yourself from ground potential with dry
clothing, rubber-soled shoes, rubber carpet or
other materials that provide insulation.
•
Disconnect the power source from the circuit
before soldering or breaking any points. Even
small electric shocks may be dangerous.
•
Be very cautious when working with voltage
above 60V DC or 30V AC because of the risk of
electric shock.
•
Keep your fingers behind the connecting area
while measuring.
•
Measuring higher values than given in the user
manual may damage the device and cause
electric shock to the user. The thresholds are
displayed on the front of the device near the
connectors also.
warning!
To avoid damage to the device make sure
you do not cross the below thresholds in any
measuring range.

•
Clamps
Suitable for measuring cables under power.
Place the cable inside the clamps for
measuring DC/AC current.
•
Clamp trigger
Opens the clamps.
•
Function selection switch
Select the desired function with this switch:
DCA, ACA, DCV, ACV, Hz / Duty cycle, Ohm,
Diode, Continuity test / Capacity.
•
ON / OFF switch
Turns the device on and off.
•
HOLD button
Pressing the HOLD button holds the measured
value on the screen. Another press will turn off
this function and you can continue measuring.
•
ZERO button
The ZERO button nullifies the screen when
measuring current. This function provides
offset equalization which is caused by the
remaining magnetism in the metal core in case
of DC current measuring.
•
LCD
4 digit liquid crystal display with function
display.
•
Low battery symbol
If the battery power goes below the limit, the
"BAT" sign will appear on the screen.
•
V Ω Hz connector
Connec the red wire here in case of measuring
voltage, current, resistance, frequency, duty
cycle, capacity, diode and continuity test.
•
COM connector
Connect the black (negative) wire here.
