Installing coaxial cables

1.  Check there are no hidden cables in the roof structure and that the hole location is clear of

obstructions both internally and externally.

2.  Drill a 8mm hole to pass the satellite cable.  For 2 cables, drill 2 holes or use larger drill.
3.  Clean off any burrs from the hole and clean surface.
4.  Pass cables through the hole.
5.  Using adhesive bond cable entry plate to the roof

– note the 3 cable glands should face the

rear of the vehicle.

6.  Secure cable to roof using the cable clips (supplied).
7.  Inside the vehicle route cable to satellite receiver and make the F connection.  The Crank

Up satellite system features a twin LNB for connection to a PVR or 2 separate receivers.

Note

To prevent trip hazards it is recommended that cables are concealed in PVCu conduit (not
supplied) where access is required to the roof of the vehicle.

Use an extra Cable
Entry Plate to route
