Position the LH and RH mounting brackets
(Kit items) in the pickup bed just forward of
corner posts
(FIG. 12-2)

NOTE:
Holes for mounting brackets are
marked and drilled only after
liftgate is in correct position on
the pickup bed.

Position liftgate in the rear opening of the
pickup bed

Bolt the main frame brackets on liftgate,
to the RH mounting brackets as shown
in
FIG. 12-2
. Handtighten bolts and nuts.
Repeat for LH mounting bracket.

on RH and LH mounting brackets as shown

. Then, apply strips of electrical
