When using Vacuum Containers
1.
Only use containers which are intended for vacuum packaging.
2.
Place your product inside the container. Do not fill the container completely, leave some space between the
product and the lid.
3.
Place the lid on the container (ensure the lid is undamaged, clean and dry) and turn de valve into the
“Vacuum” position.
4.
Attach the vacuum hose to the valve on the lid and attach the opposite end of the hose to the hose
connection at the side of the appliance.
5.
Press the
“
Canister/ MarinateX2
”
key to start the vacuum process. When using the vacuum canister
function, you cannot adjust the seal time or vacuum time. The vacuum pump will work until a pre-
programmed low pressure is reached and stops operation automatically afterwards.
6.
When the vacuum process is complete, turn the valve in
to the “Lock” position and remove the hose. Store
the container in the refrigerator. Do not store in freezer, this will cause vacuum loss over time.
7.
To open the container turn the valve to the
“Open” position and remove the lid.
NOTE: Vacuum hose or container are not included, contact your supplier to aquire these accessories.
How to use marinate function
The Maxima Vacuum Sealer 310mm DS has a special marinating feature that allows food to achieve maximum
flavour infusion in the least amount of time.
1.
Place your product and marinade together in a container. Do not fill the container completely, leave some
space between the product and the lid.
2.
Place the lid on the container (make sure the lid is undamaged, clean and dry) and turn de valve into the
“Open” position.
3.
Attach the vacuum hose to the valve and attach the opposite end of the hose to the hose port on the side of
the appliance.
4.
Press
the “
Canister/ MarinateX2
”
key twice to activate. The machine will now alternate between vacuum
and releasing air.
NOTE: This feature only works when using vacuum containers.
