Belt-Positioning Booster: Without Seat Back Installation

Belt-Positioning Booster: Without Seat Back Installation

1  Place Child in the

Child Restraint

Place child restraint against
the back of the vehicle seat.
Place the child’s bottom flat
against the child restraint and
their back against vehicle
seat.

2  Buckle Child

Place lap belt across child’s
thighs. Lock buckle.  The
shoulder belt should cross the
base of the child's neck and
across the chest (not the face
or neck).  Pull up on the
shoulder belt to tighten belt
snugly.

NOTE:

Make sure the lap and

shoulder belt are placed under
armrests as shown.

NOTE:

A snug belt should not

allow any slack. It lies in a
relatively straight line without
sagging. It does not press on
the child’s flesh or push the
child’s body into an unnatural
position.

2  Remove Backrest

Lift the backrest off the seat
base.

NOTE:

Backrest needs to

rotate below the seat base.

1  Lower Backrest

Place seat base close to an
edge of a table.  Rotate the
backrest down.
