Leak-proof System - Overflow Detection
This system is designed to prevent water leaks from the washing machine. If water collects
in the washing machine above a certain level, this function prevents the washing machine
overflowing by stopping the water supply and activating the drain pump.
Water Drain Hose
Points to remember:
Don’t twist, pull out or bend the drain hose.
•
Your washing machine should be no more than 100cm from the drain outlet.
•
Draining to a sink or wash-basin
Secure the drain hose in position, so it can’t drop out of the basin.
•
Don’t block the basin’s drain outlet, and make sure the drainage through it is sufficient.
•
Don’t let the tip of the drain hose dip into the drained water, as this can cause the water
•
to flow back into the washing machine.
Connecting to the Mains Supply
For your safety:
Never plug your washing machine into an extension lead or power strip with multiple
•
sockets.
If the mains cable or mains plug are damaged, stop using them and call for service or a
•
qualified technician.
