Adjusting the primary air

To adjust the primary air according to the data in ta-
ble (1), the fixing screw (99 - Fig. 1) must be loose-
ned. 

MAINTENANCE

Attention!

Before carrying out any maintenance or repair
work, disconnect the appliance from the mains.

The following maintenance programme should be
carried out at least once a year: 

- Check that all the safety and setting devices are
working properly; 
- Check that the burners are working properly with
regard to: 
- ignition 
- combustion safety;
- Check the functions of the appliance as descri-
bed in paragraph "Checking the functions", page
8; 
- Check the gas venting path (make sure the gas
is correctly evacuated).

REPLACING PARTS

All parts must be replaced by authorised techni-
cians only! 

To replace the following parts, remove the control
panel (after unscrewing its fixing screws). It is advi-
sable to empty the tank.

Valve (1 - Fig. 2)

Unscrew the fitting (3, 16, 21, 17) and loosen the
fixing screws. The valve may now be removed and
replaced with a new one. Replace and screw down
all parts in the correct order.

Safety thermostat (11 - Fig. 3)

Unscrew the fixing nut and the nut fixing the bulb in
the tank, disconnect and insert the new part.

Burner (31 - Fig. 1)

Unscrew the nut (29) and remove the nozzle-holder
(28).  Loosen the screws (26) fixing the burner to the
chamber.  Replace the burner.

Thermocouple (38 - Fig. 6)

Unscrew the pipe fitting (17 – Fig. 2) and the screws (36 –
Fig. 6) holding the thermocouple on the valve and on the
pilot burner. Replace the thermocouple.

Ignition plug (32 - Fig. 1)

Disconnect the ignition wire, loosen the two fixing
screws and insert a new plug. To simplify the opera-
tion, see the above-mentioned position.
