SAFETY RULES FOR WORKLIGHTS

DO NOT MODIFY WORKLIGHT IN ANY WAY. This worklight was designed 

for specific applications and may not be safe to use if modified for a different purpose. 
Contact the manufacturer if you have any questions about whether or not this worklight is 
suitable for the application you have in mind.

 

 

Use only in dry locations. Unsafe use could lead to risk of electric shock, fire or personal injury.

USE OF THIS WORKLIGHT AROUND WATER IS NOT RECOMMENDED. Never use around hot 
tubs, saunas or swimming pools. 

If an extension cord is used, it must be a 16 gauge three wire cord with a three prong plug 
rated for outdoor use (types SW, SOW, STW, STOW, SJW, SJOW, SJTW, SJTOW, SJEOW, 
SEOW.) 
Extension cord must be plugged into a grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord 
over 15 m (50 ft.) long.

Do not look directly at lighted worklight. Always wear safety glasses.

Do not operate the portable worklight with a missing or damaged glass lens.

Worklight is not intended for use in hazardous locations. Do not use in locations with flam-
mable or explosive atmospheres. Keep away from gasoline and other volatile liquids. 
Heat 
from fixture could ignite fumes.

Do not submerge. Never handle this worklight while immersed in water or standing on damp 
surfaces. 

Keep the handle of the worklight dry, clean, and free from oil and grease.

Do not run the worklight while carrying it at your side. The worklight heats up immediately 
when in use and could result in burns.

Do not use the worklight if it has been damaged, left outdoors in the rain, snow, wet or damp 
environments, or immersed in liquid.

Maintain labels and nameplates on the worklight. These carry important information. If un-
readable or missing, contact Alltrade for a replacement.

Store out of reach of children and other untrained persons.

This is an electric light – not a toy! To avoid risk of fire, burns, personal injury and electric 
shock it should not be played with or placed where small children can reach it.

Risk of tip-over when installed on the tripod.
