Keep the blade at the correct depth setting.
The depth setting should
not exceed 1/4 inch below the material being cut (Fig. 6).
Be sure
that
the blade depth and adjusting locking levers are tight and secure before
making a cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it may cause
binding and Kickback.
9.
Use extra caution
when making a “Pocket Cut” into existing walls or
other blind areas. The protruding blade may cut objects that can cause
Kickback.
STARTING/STOPPING THE SAW
To start the saw: Depress
the trigger switch (Fig. 7).
Always allow the blade to
reach full speed, and then
guide the saw into the
workpiece.
To stop the saw: Release
the trigger switch.
After you release the
trigger switch, allow
the blade to come to a
complete stop
.
Do not
remove the saw from the
workpiece while the blade is moving.
