SETTING THE HEAD SWING ANGLE
The swing drill allows you to set the swing
angle of the head for easier drilling or
driving screws in awkward locations such
as inside cupboards etc. The angles have
positive stops as follows:
0° (normal horizontal use)
22.5°
45°
67.5°
90° (vertical position)
1. To set the head swing angle, rotate
the swing angle locking knob (1) 1/4
turn counter clockwise 90° (Fig. 5).
2. Lift the head (2) upward until it
reaches the required angle (3).
NOTE:
The head will “click” into one of the
six angles when it is properly aligned.
3. Rotate the swing angle locking knob
1/4 turn clockwise 90° to lock the
swing head into position.
NOTES:
a) If the swing angle locking knob will not
turn easily to the locked position, move the
head up and down slightly until it “clicks”
into place.
b) Do not over tighten the swing angle
locking knob. It should only be finger
tightened.
