INSTRUCTIONS
The following safety precautions should always be followed, to reduce the risk of
electric shock, personal injury or fire. It is important to read all of these instructions
carefully before using the product, and to save them for future reference or new
users.

Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle.
•
To protect against fire, electric shock and injury, do not immerse cord, plugs or
powerbase in water or other liquids.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance
to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.

Always fill the kettle first, then set the appliance onto the power base, and finally
plug cord into outlet. To disconnect, remove kettle from Power Base, then remove
plug from wall outlet.
•
Do not use appliance for other than the intended use. This should only be used to
heat clean, potable water.
•
Do not immerse any part of the electric kettle in water.
•
Always make sure that lid is closed during operation. Scalding may occur when lid
is open during operation.
•
Do not use the electric kettle with a loose or weakened handle.
•
Do not clean electric kettle with abrasive cleaners, steel wool or other abrasive
materials.
•
This product is designed and intended for indoor household use only.
•
Not intended for commercial use.
•
To reduce the risk of fire, do not mount over or near any portion of a heating or
cooking appliance.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not mount over a sink.
•
To reduce the risk of fire, do not store anything directly on top of the appliance
surface when the appliance is in operation.

Fill electric kettle to the designated maximum fill level, and do not exceed this.
•
WARNING: To avoid the risk of injury, do not open the brew chamber during the
brew process.

A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over longer cord.
